Technical Translation for Design and Manufacturing

I designed and made this brass bed model while I was working for Clare Bell Brass Works in 1991. It shows all of the details of it’s full size counter part, including the chains and decorative details.

· A penny is shown actual size to show scale of the hanging pot.

· It uses purchased chain which is in 1”=1’ scale.

· It uses gold plated, solid brass components.

· There is an undercut detail for accurate representation of the inside of the pot.

 

All drawings were made from a picture shown in a catalog. The tooling was developed after the model was approved.
